If you love the sound of fingerstyle guitar and want to learn how to play it yourself, you are in the right place. Whether you are just getting started or already know a few chords and songs, the classes follow a friendly, structured approach that helps you build your skills step by step, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

“I want every student to enjoy the sound they are creating—not just rush from one exercise to the next.”
Hi, I am Aarya. I have been learning and playing guitar for over eight years, including fingerstyle guitar under my teacher, Guru Girija Marathe Maam. I also learn Carnatic guitar from Guru Shylu Ravindran Sir and love exploring different raagas and their melodic patterns. I enjoy playing both Bollywood and English songs, and discovering how melody, harmony, bass and rhythm can all come alive on one guitar.
In my classes, I keep lessons clear, patient and engaging—especially for younger learners. We build technique carefully, but always through music that makes you want to pick up the guitar and play.
Build a musical vocabulary that feels natural under your fingers.
Find the singing line inside every song and make it your own.
Lock into the pulse, from gentle grooves to percussive patterns.
Add shimmer, space and a little magic to your arrangements.
Turn chord shapes into flowing, expressive fingerstyle phrases.
Develop strong control in your fingers for smooth, confident playing.
Make the guitar feel like a whole band with your hands.
Understand the notes, chords and patterns that bring music together.
Learn how to turn your loved songs into fingerstyle arrangements.
A single focused Sunday session gives you the lesson — the mid-week online practice sessions make sure it actually sticks. Here is exactly how a week with me looks.

What separates good students from great ones is consistent, focused practice. To support this, I conduct a dedicated mid-week online practice session where both online and in-person students come together to play, refine their skills and grow in confidence.
This happens every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, a focused 15-20 minute online practice session. We play together with a metronome, build finger control, timing and turn the week's lesson into muscle memory.
If you don't see an answer to your question, you can contact me and I will be glad to help.
None at all. The beginner batch assumes you have never held a guitar. We start from how to sit, how to place your fingers, and how to make your very first clean note.
Yes. If you are coming to a first offline trial without an instrument, a practice guitar can be arranged - just message ahead and I will help you choose the right one.
Steel-string acoustic and nylon-string classical guitars are both perfect for fingerstyle. Start with whatever you have and let me guide your next instrument once you settle into the style.
It is a short 15-20 minute live Zoom session on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 8:00 PM to 8:20 PM. Online and offline students all join the same Zoom session, play along to a metronome, and I will listens in to correct each student personally. It is included for every student at no extra cost — and it is the single biggest reason my students improve so quickly.
You join a live Sunday session over a Zoom video call. I will shares tabs on screen, and every class is recorded so you can revise during the week. You only need a guitar, a phone or laptop, and a decent internet connection.
Most beginners play a simple fingerstyle piece - melody, bass and a rolling arpeggio together - within the first 2-3 months.
Yes. You are welcome to attend a trial class before deciding. It is a good way to experience the teaching style, understand how the classes work, and see if the course feels right for you.
